作品コンセプト

 

どんな命も、生まれたからには　必ず死にゆく運命なのだから

なるべく、たくさんの善いことを行いませんか

まるでたくさんの花を集めて、美しい花飾りを作るように

（原子仏典ダンマパダ第４章５３番）

 

Once you’ve given a life, there is no way to avoid from death.

So, why don’t we do something great for others.

Like gathering flowers to create a beautiful ornament.

(Primary Buddhist scriptures “Dhammapada, Chapter 4, No.53)

 

この作品は、上記の仏陀の教えからインスパイアされて生まれたものです。

花には様々な種類や色が存在するように、

『善い行い』にも、人それぞれ違う事柄が浮かぶでしょう

私たちはそれぞれ、まるで『オリジナルの花飾り』を制作するように

毎日を大切に、謙虚に、感謝を忘れずに生きることを忘れない、という思いから

この作品群が生まれました。

 

This artwork series was inspired from Primary Buddhist scriptures.

There are different types and colours in Flowers, we may have different types of “do something great for others” in our minds.

Like creating our original follower ornament, I hope to live everyday life with modesty and thankfulness.
